How to: Install new Windows components after Windows 95 has been installed.
Solution:
Click the 'Windows Setup' tab of the 'Add/Remove Programs' found in 'Control Panel'.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon. (The 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Windows Setup' tab.
5) Select the check box for each additional Windows 95 component to install from the 'Components' list box.
NOTE: Check boxes for components that were previously installed should already be selected.
6) (Optional) Change the details of what is installed for any component:
a) Select the component for which to change installation details.
b) Click 'Details...'. (The component 'Options' dialog box appears.)
EXAMPLE: Select 'Multimedia' and click 'Details' to select specific sound schemes and/or multimedia utilities to install.
7) Click 'OK'. (A message box indicates the diskette or CD-ROM to insert in the drive.)
8) When prompted, insert the CD-ROM or the appropriate Windows 95 diskette in the correct drive.
9) Click 'OK'. (Windows 95 will install the requested components.)
